How StudyPulse works, and where to get in touch if something isn't right.
Common questions about practice, AI marking, and your account.
A growing set of Australian and international curricula, with content mapped to each curriculum's official syllabus. If a subject you want isn't there yet, the request-access page (below) tells us to prioritise it.
A mix of past-paper-style questions and AI-generated questions written to fill coverage gaps. Every question is tagged to a specific topic in your curriculum, and the source is labelled on the question page.
The AI marker compares your response against the marking guide for that question and returns a mark plus a per-criterion breakdown. Treat the feedback as a draft to learn from; your teacher's mark is the authority. Read more about AI on StudyPulse, including its limits.
Use the report form at /help/ai. A human reads every report. If it changes anything you'd write on a real assessment, double-check with your teacher first.
Open your profile and edit the subjects list there. Adding a subject unlocks its questions, AI Tutor, and course notes immediately.
You may need to request access to some subjects. Hit the button on the subject page and we'll get back to you.
Yes. Free accounts get a small number of question submissions and AI Tutor messages per day so you can try the tool. Premium lifts those limits and adds the Essay Marker. Refer three friends and you earn three months of Premium free.
Yes. StudyPulse runs in any modern mobile browser. There's no separate app to install.
Submissions and chats are scoped to you, and to your teachers if you're in a class. Nothing on StudyPulse is reported to your exam board or affects your final result. See the privacy policy for what we store and which AI providers process your text.
Setting up classes, seeing student work, and assigning tasks.
Sign up with your school email and tick the teacher box during onboarding. Once verified you'll see the teacher dashboard, where you can create classes under your school's organisation.
Your dashboard mirrors what students already see on their own: completed practice, AI feedback on their answers, and which topics they're finding hardest. Class views aggregate the same data so you can spot patterns across the cohort, rather than watching individuals. If a student files a help request from a question, it surfaces on your dashboard so you can step in.
Yes. Build a question set from the question bank or write your own custom questions, then assign it to a class. Essay prompts work the same way: assign a prompt to a class and see who's submitted, with the AI's rubric-by-rubric mark.
The AI Tutor is built to teach, not to ghost-write. It nudges students toward the answer rather than handing it over, and surfaces follow-up questions to check understanding. Read About AI on StudyPulse for our full position, including what the tutor will and won't do.
We're built around the eSafety Safety by Design principles, run AI requests through providers on zero-data-retention contracts, and don't share work between students. Schools evaluating us for ST4S can email [email protected].
